Poster Campaign

„Stay Creative. Stay save.“ is a poster campaign created during the Corona crisis as a call to Hamburg’s creative community to stay creative, stay connected and support each other.
The campaign was initiated and coordinated by KommuneArt.
The poster concept and illustration were developed in collaboration through Spiegelsaal.

Briefing

The campaign was created in response to the cultural and economic impact of the pandemic on artists, musicians and the wider creative scene in Hamburg.
The aim was to create a strong and optimistic visual statement that encouraged solidarity, resilience and the sharing of creative resources during an uncertain time.

Execution

The artwork was designed for posters and campaign-related communication across print and digital platforms.
With the support of Towntalker, the idea of a public exhibition became reality: 230 framed DIN A1 townboards were installed across Hamburg.
In addition, previously unused spaces in the Schanze and Karoviertel districts were placarded, extending the campaign into the urban environment and directly into the heart of the local creative scene.

Visual Approach

Influenced by pop culture, street art and classic poster design, the artwork uses vibrant colors and bold, instantly recognizable imagery to create an energetic visual statement.
The aim was to communicate optimism, solidarity and creative energy at first glance.
