Album Packaging Artwork

I created the illustrations for the screen printed album packaging of Junglelyd, released on Sounds Of Subterrania Records.
The packaging was developed and produced in collaboration through Spiegelsaal as a limited edition collectible object, combining music-inspired illustration with handcrafted screen printing.

Briefing

Junglelyd takes the listener into a world of digital cumbia, tropical bass, psychedelic electronica and ritual-inspired rhythms.
The artwork was created to reflect this vibrant and hypnotic musical universe, translating movement, mysticism and tropical energy into symbolic imagery.

Execution

The custom-designed fold-out sleeve was screen printed inside and outside, turning the record cover into a multi-layered visual experience.
Produced in limited quantities, the packaging combines the tactile quality of handmade printmaking with the character of an exclusive vinyl release.

Visual Approach

Influenced by jungle landscapes, cumbia culture and elements of Mayan-inspired mythology, the illustration combines exotic symbolism with vibrant, rhythmic compositions.
The aim was to create artwork that reflects the raw energy, tropical atmosphere and mystical undertones of the music — somewhere between psychedelic album art and a collectible art print.
